Grand Knight's Message
October is the Month of the Rosary and I thank Paul McCabe for arranging for a Living Rosary in front of Sacred Heart Church earlier this month. It was nice to see several Brother Knights in attendance. November is dedicated to the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Consider combining the two by praying an extra rosary in November for the Pour Souls in Purgatory.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the annual Deceased Members Mass at the hall on Sunday, November 10 at 5:00pm. Thanks go out to our Chaplain Father Jack Harris for saying Mass for us that evening. Bring your families, bring a potluck item, and come out and enjoy a wonderful evening praying for and celebrating the memory of our Brother Knights who have gone before us.
ATTENTION FIRST DEGREE MEMBERS: We're going to have a great opportunity for you to obtain your Second and Third degrees right here in Morrilton at the hall on Sunday, December 15. There is no cost for candidates, and there will be a meal included. All Third (and higher) degree Knights are welcome to witness this event. If guests wish to enjoy the meal, the cost will be $10. Registration at the hall will be from 1:00pm until 2:00pm, degree work begins at 2:00pm, with meal to follow. Call or text me at (501) 977-4585 to sign up in advance. Advance sign up is required.
I know it's a little early, but I want to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thanks for all you do!
Mark Hoelzeman, Grand Knight

Catering Mark Hoelzeman:
Many thanks to all who helped with our three catering events during October. Teams 1 through 4 each provided workers to these dinners, and in addition thanks to our cooks: Glenn Berkemeyer (and Donice), Alan Hoelzeman (and Regina, Luke and Colleen), and Luke again helping me on another dinner. We had a lot of fun and raised over $2,000 for the council. We have two dinners scheduled (as of now) in December, on December 6 and 7. I believe Team 5 will be assigned to December 6 and Team 1 to December 7, but I will confirm that with the team leaders when we get closer.
