Grand Knight's Message

Brother Knights, I hope you and your families had an enjoyable, blessed Easter. This time of year is so busy, but such a wonderful time in so many ways. Enjoy it!

We have lots going on with the Knights - right away we have the planned K of C Day of Fishing and fun, Saturday, May 4th. The details are below and you don't want to miss out - get the whole family involved. The next family breakfast will be at the end of June. And be sure and come out for our big Softball Game with the St. Vincent council on Sunday, June 23rd.

At the May regular meeting (Tuesday, May 14, 7:00pm) we will have two important items to discuss and vote:

1) List of approved expenditures - we have developed a "budget" to discuss and have a list of expenditures to approve.

2) Tables and chairs - we are proposing to purchase up to $2,000 for some much needed new chairs and tables.

Your input is wanted and needed. Come on out for the meeting - and come early and eat with us around 6:00pm, rosary at 6:30pm.

Vivat Jesus!

Mark Hoelzeman, G.K.

Special Announcement:

On Saturday, May 4th, we all will get together and go fishing - wherever you like to fish. Ponds, creeks, rivers, lakes, anywhere. If you don't know where to fish, meet at the hall and we'll find a spot for you. Come out to the hall early, and we'll plan to go out around 8:00am. Of course you can fish on your own anytime. When you're finished fishing, bring your catch to the hall and we'll clean 'em up and fry 'em up. Later we hope folks will bring out their guitars and other instruments and play some music while we eat, play cards and just have some good fun together. We do need some help cooking and we need folks willing to assist in getting places to fish arranged. Call (501) 977-4585 for details or to offer to help in some way. Pray for good weather!

Softball Challenge:

ATTENTION SOFTBALL PLAYERS: We have scheduled the Morrilton vs. St. Vincent K of C softball game for Sunday, June 23 at St. Vincent. Save the date and plan to come enjoy the fun, whether you play or just want to watch. It's a great time. If you'd like to play, please text or call Mark Hoelzeman at (501) 977-4585.
